Fancourt is a family-friendly destination, offering a range of activities to keep the whole family entertained. The Leisure Centre offers activities for the little ones at its dedicated Kidz Club and for teens at the Teen Lounge. Some of the activities available for guests include an in-house cinema, fully equipped gym, pools, a multicourt and leisure trails. The centre rolls out holiday programs throughout holiday seasons for a memorable getaway. The Ridge is home to our new padel courts and soon we it will offer lawn bowls

Swimming Pools

The Leisure Centre offers guests a choice of two swimming pools – one outdoor pool with a Jacuzzi, perfect for summer days, and a heated indoor pool, ideal for swimming, no matter the weather.

Poolside Cafe

After a refreshing dip, relax at the edge of the pool and enjoy cocktails and light meals at The Poolside Café. Soak up the South African sunshine while you enjoy a relaxed outdoor dining experience. The Poolside Café is seasonal.

Tennis & Multicourt

Try a game of tennis, basketball, or netball against the picturesque backdrop of the Outeniqua Mountains. Two of these courts are equipped with floodlights, allowing individuals to play during the evening. Complimentary tennis rackets and balls are available.

Fishing

Take advantage of the peaceful surroundings and spend a day outdoors, attempting to catch a large fish at one of Fancourt’s fishing dams. Novice and seasoned anglers alike will enjoy a day of fishing while observing catch-and-release practice. The Leisure Centre provides complimentary fishing rods and tackle to visitors.

Trails

Enjoy the crisp mountain air while exploring the 613-hectare estate along the leisure trails at Fancourt. Take a leisurely stroll, jog, or bike ride along the 2.5km, 5km or 10km outdoor trails. The Botanical Walk is a trail on offer for plant enthusiasts, where many indigenous plant species can be seen. Bicycles are available for use from the Leisure Centre.

Kidz Club

The Kidz Club is for the little ones aged from three years to 10 years old, with fun activities to keep them busy. Jungle gyms, arts and crafts and movies are just a few of the activities at the Kidz Club. For the teens, there’s the Teen Lounge, fully equipped for fun, with foosball, a pool table, table tennis, video games, game consoles and ‘chill zones’.

Padel

Experience one of the world’s fastest-growing sports right here at Fancourt. Our brand-new padel courts offer an exciting blend of tennis and squash in a fun, social and easy-to-learn game suitable for all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re playing for friendly competition or fitness, padel at Fancourt promises energetic rallies, great laughs and unforgettable moments on court. Lawn Bowls

A timeless classic is rolling into Fancourt this December. Our brand-new lawn bowls facility will offer Members and guests a relaxed yet competitive way to enjoy the outdoors in a beautiful setting. Perfect for all ages and abilities, lawn bowls promises fun social play, gentle exercise and friendly rivalry. Join us mid-December as we officially open the greens and introduce a new tradition to Fancourt.
