Montagu

Fancourt’s Montagu golf course has gained a world-renowned reputation as one of the best 18-hole parkland courses. The Montagu is well-known for superb conditioning and fast-paced firm greens. This magnificent course has some of the best aesthetics in South Africa.

Golf Etiquette

Please keep up the pace, complete Montagu in 4h30 and Outeniqua in 4h18 or less. Play ready golf, move quickly between holes, and take no more than 40 seconds per shot. Pick up your ball if you’ve reached your max score.

Golfers must wear proper golf attire on the course, practice areas, and in the Members Bar. No T-shirts, athletic wear, denims (on course), cargo pants, backward caps, or sandals. Management reserves the right to enforce dress code standards.

Golf carts must be booked in advance. Only licensed drivers over 18 may operate them. Stay 10m away from greens—GPS carts will stop if driven into restricted zones and must be reversed to work again.
