- Safe house - George Child Welfare Safe House was established in January 2008 - a short-term crisis home for children who have been abandoned or abused, and who need emergency placement at any time of the day or night.

- Job Creation project at Sikelela Skills Development Centre
As part of our Shareholders continued commitment to promoting a better quality of life for those less fortunate than ourselves, Fancourt automatically adds an optional R10 donation to our hotel invoices for the George Child and Family Welfare.
